Author Guidelines
Author Guidelines
Manuscript should be in line with journal aims & scope. In addition to that published paper, accepted paper must not be submitted to IJBR. For paper formatting please see following section.
Format | Article files should be submitted online in Microsoft Word format. Font size for text must be 12 points. Font style to be used is Times New Roman. |
Article Length | Articles should be between 6000 and 7000 words in length. This includes all text including references and appendices. |
Article Title | A title of not more than twenty words should be provided. |
Author details | All contributing authors’ names should be added. - Correct email addresses should be supplied for each author in their separate author accounts
- The full name of each author must be present in their author account in the exact format they should appear for publication, including or excluding any middle names or initials as required
- The affiliation of each contributing author should be correct in their individual author account. The affiliation listed should be where they were based at the time that the research for the paper was conducted

Structured Abstract | Abstract should comprises research purpose, methods, findings, research limitation and originality of the research without headings. Maximum is 250 words in total (including keywords and article classification, see below).
Authors should avoid the use of personal pronouns within the structured abstract and body of the paper (e.g. "this paper investigates..." is correct, "I investigate..." is incorrect). |
Keywords | Authors should provide appropriate and short keywords in the submission. |
Headings | Headings must be concise, with a clear indication of the distinction between the hierarchy of headings.
The preferred format is for first level headings to be presented in bold format and subsequent sub-headings to be presented in medium italics. |
Notes/Endnotes | Notes or Endnotes should be used only if absolutely necessary and must be identified in the text by consecutive numbers, enclosed in square brackets and listed at the end of the article. |
Figures | All Figures (charts, diagrams, line drawings, web pages/screenshots, and photographic images) should be submitted in electronic form. |
Tables | Tables should be typed and included in the main file. |
References | Use APA Publication Manual (7th edition) for citing within text and to make a reference list. References must be given at the end of text. Where applicable, author(s) name(s), journal title/book title, chapter title/article title, year of publication, volume number/book chapter and the pagination must be included. Use of DOI is highly encouraged. |

Article Processing Charges | International Journal of Business Reflections (IJBR) does not charge any submission/processing or publication charges. Articles will be accepted after double-blind review process, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. |
Plagiarism | The plagiarism is checked by Turnitin software and only plagiarism free manuscript will consider for review process. |
Change in authorship | Authors are advised to consider carefully their names' spellings and sequence before submitting their manuscripts. Any change (addition, deletion and change in order) can only be accepted if it is according to COPE guidelines. |
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
