The Journal of Research in Humanities is an academic-research journal which has been published by the Institute of English Studies, University of the Punjab since 1966. At that time, the Editorial Board of the Journal consisted of the Heads of various departments and the other learned professors. Professor Sirajuddin (the first Head of the English Department and Professor Emeritus) was the first Editor-in-Chief of the Journal.
